Baptisms, Confirmations and Holy Communion – Phew!

It was a huge pleasure to hold infant baptisms recently for two different families from our church family. As always it is great to welcome family and friends as well as hear and see the young people in church. At one of the services there was at least 31 children either engaged in appropriate craft activity, or else being part of the involved congregation.

Also, during the month we welcomed 10 people into membership of the Methodist Church. These people had all been coming to Trinity for some time and following a number of confirmation classes held by our own Minister (Rev Christine) we were delighted to combine their confirmation with one of the Baptism’s – a lovely way of demonstrating that whatever our age we are able to embark upon a journey of discovery and transformation through Christ.

On the same day we also celebrated Holy Communion and in line with our tradition welcomed all people who wished to, to take part. It is an open welcome.
