Happy New Year and special thank you’s to all those people who made Trinity such a special place over the Christmas period. As always the church looked terrific – beautifully decorated and welcoming.
We were delighted to welcome friends old and new to the events and services. We had our annual Carol and Mince Pie event when a large and appreciative audience joined together in both listening to ‘Singing Futures’ and ‘Trinity Singers’ as well as singing lots of well known carols.
The Christingle attracted over 150 people – young, very young and not so young. On Christmas Eve night the candlelit service at 11.15 was an opportunity to join in a time of worship and reflection to welcome Christmas Day.
On Christmas day Trinity folk joined with friends at Corton Methodist Church along with visitors and holidaymakers for a Communion Service.
Since Christmas we have held our Epiphany carol service and are looking forward to our annual ‘Covenant Service’ towards the end of the month.
As we enter this New Year we are starting to think about our worship and fellowship. Already we are identifying how we make our worship richer and more relevant and how we can ensure we also encourage fellowship and mutual support/friendship. More details of services and events will follow and be published on this site.
